Isaac Woodward

Isaac is 12 years old and recently started playing the steel guitar.

The reason he chose the steel guitar is that he wants to be a steel guitar player in his father's band, Walea. His father is Kekoa Woodward.

His connection to Hawaiian culture is throgh his study of the instrument that was created by Joseph Kekuku—the steel guitar. He enjoys playing the steel guitar under the guidance of his kumu Alan Akaka.
