Classes

Classes are offered at the school site in Kailua on the island of O‘ahu. Group classes and private lessons are available. Remote instruction is also available using Skype or Zoom technology and an Internet connection. Classes are offered to anyone from school-aged youth to adults of all ages.

Group Classes

During the COVID-19 pandemic, classes are offered remotely via Zoom.

Group classes are 45 minutes each week. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced group classes are available.

Parent and Keiki classes are 45 minutes each week and offer an opportunity for parents to learn alongside their children in a classroom setting.

Private lessons

Private lessons of either 30, 60, or 120 minutes are available.

Private lessons via Skype or Zoom of either 30, 60, or 120 minutes are offered by appointment.

Workshops

Steel Guitar Workshops for all ages are offered periodically throughout the state of Hawai‘i and other locations. Please see the Workshops section for more information and visit the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Symposium website for a list of upcoming workshops.
